not because their product is bad or their
market is weak, but because the entrepreneur
is too busy doing day-to-day jobs inside the
business. Instead of thinking, planning, and
managing, the owner ends up working like an
employee in his own company. This looks like
dedication, but in reality, it is a trap that holds
back growth.
As a business growth consultant, I meet
entrepreneurs who spend their whole time
chasing small issues—approving payments,
calling customers, arranging stock, or even
running after workers. This gives them a
sense of control, but they miss the bigger
picture. A true entrepreneur should build a
business that works for him, not one where
he is trapped doing all jobs himself. That
requires a change in mind-set, strong systems,
and a reliable team.
